Dr. Abraham, a well known cancer specialist, was once on his way to an important conference in another city where he was going to receive an award in the field of medical research. Shea Butter Insight The Shea Tree (Butyrospermum parkii or Vitellaria paradoxa ) occurs in a geographical band of sub sarah Countries including Mali, Cameroon, Congo, C^ote d ' Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Togo, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Burkina Faso and Uganda. In Ghana the tree only occurs in the North of the Country. Trees take time to mature and it usually takes at least 10 years before the trees even flower. The plum like fruit which are green first then brown later contain the nuts which are oil rich seeds that when processed yield a product know as Shea Butter. Genuine Shea Butter should not be confused with another vegetable based butter know as African Butter. How many of the people you consider friends, truly care about you? How many encourage you in your visions and dreams, and are there for you when you hit a wall? If we’re honest, most of us would have to concede that a significant number of so-called friends and associates aren’t there for us in a pinch. In fact, many of the people we spend time with are time-wasters who drain our energy and trivialize our dreams. In the Old Testament David and Jonathan were willing to lay down their lives for each other. And Ruth told Naomi, “Wherever you go, I will go” (Ru 1:16 NKJV). Do you have friends like that? If not, spend more time cultivating relationships with those who genuinely care about you; who don’t feel threatened by your success and want to see you succeed.
